power door lock 700 1990

1990 760 Turbo wagon.
The driver side power door lock should lock and unlock all the doors (with the key or the remote). Now it allows unlocking but locking doesn't work. The doors lock for a second and then pop back up unlocked. the driver side lock will not stay locked. Question: what needs to be replaced or fixed? the driver door lock actuator?
