Any comments on the 16 Valve?

HI!

The B-234 is Quite rare, just fitted few years in 740 GLT modells. Developed originally in Marine- engine. In early 16 -valve engine, wich VOLVO used in 343 Rallycross car is original designed by VOLVO`s marine division (VOLVO-PENTA). All "HIPO" Evolution was first in the boats. Ex Cyl head 405, was first in marine engines, then early 240 GLT`s fitted first H, then K and finally just ordenary A- CAM. Also B-234 has several versions, in Itay they sold 740 GLT fitted B-204 engine with TURBO(200BHP). In FORD`s OHC engines( Pinto, Mustang) it has just ONE same part, the OIL-FILTER. Older Saab`use it too. Any ENGINE part dont fit`together.BTW: FORD COSWORTH BDA BDF BDG`s are NOT same as SIERRA`S COSWORTH, those older "Belt Driven" wer full alloy engines. Sierra`s Engines were same iron "pinto" block, only head was made alloy by COSWORTH, same as MERCEDES 190 2.3-2.5 engines heads, designed and made in GB. Hope this helps You, check what is the engines condition, and you need also all ECU`s and mounting systems. BTW: IT WILL NOT FIT IN ANY 240. You can use only head, the cyl block fits with 7-series "Front cross member". It is not any " bolt on " system. But ask what is "the days price".
