144S status 140-160

As suggested I will work this one thing at a time. Problem is the engine seems to lack power on the road. The engine appears to run ok. It revs fine without stumble since I put oil in the dashpots. The past owner complained about this since they bought the car in 2004. The car has 145K on it but records shows the engine and transmission were rebuilt 10K ago.

I have a dwell meeting coming and will check my gap setting and see what the meter says. My car is an automatic. I had the float bowls open and cleaned them out. I had the dashpots off and cleaned in there before I put oil in them. I guess what is left is the jet area. Will have to review the manual and see about cleaning that part of the carb. I'm almost out of the fuel that was in it when I picked it up and have started to new add fresh fuel. Maybe with that and driving it a bit more it will pick up.
