Unless you are overrevving your engine in OD, I would NOT change the ratio.
I put a M410 in my 69 164 and with the IPD street perf cam and 3.31 original
diff, it is too tall a gear and will not accelerate on level ground in
overdrive until you get it up to about 75 mph.
