544 brake adjustment 444-544

Ok...i did a brake adjustment and it made a deffinate improvement in pedal travel (less travel) where i was very close to the floor before. If i dont drive for a day or two and im not sure if temp. effects it but....the front left brake will grab a lot harder and faster than the rest. After pumping it a bit...they are fine and the car tracks straight when braking. is anything wrong...should i readjust everything again. The lines are new (6 months) and the wheel cylinders are fairly new (5 years).

Thanks for the advice and input
Abram
