I was wondering if there was a cheaper alternative fan motor for my 86 240dl wagon. I read somewhere about the possibility an 84 citation fan motor that could possibly work? runnin out of money! bought the car from my daughter so she could take a 3 month trip to Thailand and now I dont think I can stop tinkering until she's cherry! anyway just became a member and I love all the great things I've learned from you guys. fixed my overdrive with a relay resolder.thanks for the great info. also, does anybody know a way I could get a set of 14 inch laguna wheels off my 67 122 to mount on my 86 wagon, thought they might look cool. same wheel size, just a quarter inch or so off on stud placement. but I would bet most of ya knew that already! just dreaming ya think? by the way the fan removal is the mess ya all said it would be.
