Plugs and wires question

I am replacing very old wires with brand new ones so I'm sure the Bosch will do for a while. In any case, they are bought now. I just want to buy the right plugs.

If Volvo has eliminated the resistor in their wires and added it to the more recent plugs, would they still make the non-resistor plugs and would I get the ones that I need? I have found that the local auto stores sell the W7DC plugs, now apparently renamed 7500.
