NAPA replaced the alternator - Got night vision! 120-130

I was having trouble with low voltage output at high speeds following a generator to alternator conversion. After checking my intallation and wiring a half dozen times with no improvement, the alternator was taken back to NAPA for review. A new alternator was ordered with no questions asked.

Results with the replacement alternator are stellar. There is now an actual use for the dimmer on the dash lights! Quantum leap in headlight brightness too. I was stubborn about using the generator over the past four years because it just kept working. How foolish.

Jeff was correct about questioning the water pump after the run in with the deer. I put a new pump on yesterday. The old pump started squawking shortly after the replacement alternator was installed.

Abbey goes in for cosmetic surgery on Jan 22. Hopefully that will be enough excitement for the rest of the winter.
