Yes - check the bulbs 200

Yes - check the bulbs. They should be matched pairs left-right.

The failure relay compares the current draw of left vs. right side of each circuit that it monitors. So any difference such as maker, age, type can trip the bulb failure warning relay (BFWR). Also any difference in "health" of the various contacts between bulb, bulb holder, lamp cluster and wire connector.

Hopefully you'll find the culprit without tearing everything apart.

Sorry. Its a lot of stuff to check. All to placate a piece of hardware that was supposed to make life easier for you. The sedans seem to have more failures in the rear lamp assembly - it's a flexible circuit "board" vs. the beefier stamped metal in the wagons.
