wipers don't work on 245 relay is ok and motor is not grinding what shoul I do next

The wipers are not working on my 245 and the relay must be good because it works when transplanted in another car and working relays from other cars don't do any better than the original . Is there any point in fosterising the relay while it is out?

There is power at two of the wires going into the motor. It has not been grinding or appears to have slowed down while it was workin . The red fuse loks okay as well as the fuse holder. Is there any point in fosterising the relay while it is out.

I have a spare wiper motor and command stalk from my 1986 parts car available. What else should I check or do before I start swapping those ? Is it normal that out of the four wires going to the motor connections, only two seem to have power? How should I proceed to check the wiring? Is one of these four wires supposed to be a ground ? I thought that the motor was grounded through the mounting srews in the top part of the firewall. Than you in advance for any suggestion.
