Is this My Oil Pressure Sender? (see photo) 200

I knew that this bit would cause me a certain amount of grief eventually. There's absolutely zero insulation left on this wire. All was well for about 6 months, but today the oil pressure light has begun to flicker. Levels are good. Changed oil about 2 weeks ago.

I'm pretty sure this is the culprit but before i swap it out, i wanted some confirmation. Please see the photo.

Also, can these be safely purchased at any auto parts chain, or is this something that you usually recommend only getting from a Volvo specialist?

1986 Volvo 240 DL

Thanks for your help...
