source for alternator diodes 900

The alt in the teen's 93/94 940 has been diagnosed dead twice, once just dead and once won't even 'start'. It's a ND 100amp unit. I pulled it apart and see a couple of diodes in the board that look a bit cooked. Is there a source for the individual diodes, and how practical is that? or can i just replace the whole shebang? I would be replacing the brushes also as they're down to 1/4".
You guys are great, thanks,
mike
