Body Panel Rear of Pass Side Rear Door 700 1992

The rear body panel on my '86 740 Wagon and the '92 Wagon appear to be a perfect match.

Since the '92 I picked was creased down the side from the younger yahoo who bought the wagon off his grandmother for a dollar - he rubbed it against an oak tree up on one of the back roads in Vermont. I replaced the rear passenger side door with one from the 1986 and it fit and hooked up like a charm !

It is the one piece that pretty much goes from around the inside inner rear door frame to the top of the back side of the body where the lift gate meets the top of the roof sheet metal.

Have you guys ever tried to get this metal off in one piece ?

And if so, do you have any advice or tips to give on how to get it off without hacking the welded seams to smithereens ?

I am thinking whizz wheel to cut the piece off.

Any help would be appreciated.
