What is this car????

Greetings--I just purchased my first Volvo. I saved it from the crusher down at the local scrap yard. It.s a clean little four-door sedan with a 5-cyl diesel engine that runs, or so they tell me. The problem is it came without title or key, so I have no idea what model or year it is. The plate under the hood says:
244 E1 006712
YVIAX7741E1006712
Can anyone tell me what I've got here? And does anyone know what I can do about getting a key to fit the ignition? The car has a locking steering column so I can't do much with it until I can turn the ignition switch. I'm looking forward to fixing this baby up and converting her to Vegetable oil. Thanks....
