What is this car????

Well, what you have is a 1984 Volvo 244 Diesel. The VIN indicates it is a 6-cylinder, not an I-5. (Although there was an I-5 available in other markets, I doubt one came to the US, count your injectors again.)

The engine is a D24, it is a 6 cylinder variant of the VW 1.6, made by VW.

If you want a key, take some ownership paperwork to the local dealer. About $20 later you will have a key on order.

More questions? There are a few dieselheads on here, but most people will tell you to run like the plague.

You wanna run veggie? Be prepared to change all the fuel lines.
