Turning the key will only turn on the fuel pump and pressurize the rail and injectors. To get them to spray, they have to have current supplied to them to make them open. This can be very dangerous, so make sure there's no source of heat beyond maybe 150 ft. and no source of ignition (like a cigarette or pilot light).
As far as which you have... I can't help you there tonight.
