Also watch out for throttle switches that click at the right time but don't make contact, check it with meter also. I have had TPS connector problems with these cars also, pull the boot back and check that contacts in the plug are "latched" and not being pushed back when you plug it together.

Here is a down and dirty trick to make car drivable until you can figure it out if this is your daily driver:

Replace IAC with a valve (water/gas/air) of some sort that you can clamp in it's place and you can adjust airflow thru the idle circuit thus the idle speed.



These idle systems can be a pain sometimes, hang in there.
