B20 Low Compression Head Gasket Kit 120-130

I am going to pull the head on my B20 and replace the appropriate gaskets (exhaust & intake manifold gasket, water pump gasket, thermostat gasket, head gasket, valve cover gasket). I am assuming the B20 in my 67 wagon is a B20B (it has a Webber on it). I see that IPD sells a low compression kit for a B20B on their site. Anyone have any experience or thoughts on the low compression concept? I remember reading some mixed reviews of these. I am mostly concerned with getting the engine running strong and keeping the oil and coolant seperate at this point.
