My daughters 90 model 740 needed a new pump. Its a Regina system so its one pump.
She got this car from a kid who's Dad did not know what he was doing. He removed all the return lines.
And the last piece of connector hose from the filler tube to the tank.
So I finally get a new pump and sender unit for it. Hunted forever. Now the problem is the return line.
The mechanic got a return line for it and then called me. He said I have the wrong pump. I think perhaps there are different types of connection setups? I think I have read that before.
The car is in great shape other than this. You open the hood and it is like a new vehicle inside. So I know that she is worth saving. I can't imagine why some idiot pulled the return lines but now I have to figure out how to make this work.
Please advise.
