The impact absorbers are specific to each the up-to-'82 "commando buumpers" and then the '83-85. Then they changed again for the 86 on up. So get the impact absorbers with the bumper(s) and they should slot right in. The trim is different though and the holes for the mounting clips are located differently on the front fenders so you'll have to play around to make it look stock. Don't know about the locating holes for the rear trim. It may work out OK. I think the 82's are bigger so you could just drill new mounting holes.
