Well I sold my temp car (1983 245 Turbo wagon) and now I am trying to get my 1963 544 back on the road. I am really interested in getting a solid state ignition system probably by Pertronix. Has anyone had any experiences with them? Which one works best for the 544? I am also thinking about getting an alternator, I know there is a website that sells a kit but is it really worth a hundred bucks for a bracket? (Sorry I can't remember which website thats on)
