Heater Blower Motor 200 1979

1979 242DL, B21F. After solving the problem of having an oil light on when the ignition is off and having extremely delayed idiot lights (both due to corroded and melted engine wiring harness) I've come to the issue of a heater blower staying on after the ignition has been turned off. If the heater control knob is left on 1,2,3 the blower will stay on after I've taken the key out of the ignition. I have to remember to manual ensure the blower is off before leaving the car.

Would this be another wiring issue or an ignition switch problem? Thanks so much!
