shock absorber/damper bush order? 120-130

Hello one and all,
Not a very exciting one this, but it has me a little perplexed.. (doesn't take much:))..hope someone can help.
I put a new set of progressive springs and bilsteins on the old girl. She didn't like them so I had to take them off and put them on the volvo.:) Due to various time constraints this was done over a couple of days and I was then unsure on the order of all the washers and rubber bushings. This is because A: I'm an idiot and didn't take notes, B: My manual is unclear, and C: some mounts seemed to be rubber direct to body (body, rubber, washer, nut) and some not, ie body, washer, rubber, washer, nut. It also seems different front and rear...plus some washers are lipped for centering in their mount holes. I am also unsure how much to squash-ie tighten-the rubber mounts..I can see arguments for firm and soft.
I am asking because although the car feels great, it groans and creaks more than it did/should, and I know I have got things in the wrong order.
I hope I haven't bored and confused you all into a coma, I'm just hoping there will be someone on here who has done this job 100 times and knows. I've done it once and don't.
I must say the body control on the old girl has improved immensely since the changes...-insert your own wife joke here -
Best,
David White
