engine flush? 700 1990

GM issued a bulletin a few yrs ago to dealers telling them to discourage owners from using engine flushes due to incompatibility with certain engine parts (meaning seals, I expect) and stating that failures associated with flushes would not be covered by warranty.

That plus the continuing failure of aftermarket snake oil pushers to provide unbiased, third-party laboratory evidence of the worth of their products tells us "don't bother".

Quality oil and filter, change as per owner's manual - that's all you really need.
