The car died at one of the busiest intersections in Sacramento on my way to work =(

I had it towed to the office and ran over to a nearby auto (volvo) dismantler who gouged me for a used Crank position sensor ($45!!). I pulled the old one; here it is:

I guess I found the reason that it would occasionally die.
