To buy '71 142S or not??? 140-160

The hard part is getting a good ported head for one. VPD in NY state would be closest to you, but I think he has a huge waiting list. KG Trimning in Sweden has a range of heads from stock to wild with their biggest heads appearing to be clones of Volvo's own competition versions. Also in Sweden is Mike Aaro, I'm not sure if he still ports heads for B20's, but he sold one to Phil which is obviously very good looking at his dyno figures.

The rest is fairly basic, the stock bottom end is strong enough for nearly anything naturally aspirated, aftermarket parts are really only required for stroker motors or big bore motors which usefulness is debatable.
