I even had 225/50-15 Virgos on the car for a while. Only rough when not moving, of course. Otherwise it wasn't a big deal.



I actually ended up using a hub from a 240 on my '68. It didn't fit perfectly, and the spline setup was a bit different(taper, or size, or depth or a mix of the three), but it worked fine with the nut tight. I didn't have a horn and the wheel was moved back towards me by at least an inch, giving a wierd driving position and making it a reach for the turn signal stalk.

Regardless, I had the wheel on the car for something like a year and a half?
