The dreaded air pump S90-V90 1998

WSorry I don't have a # for you-I have only taken the part off and replaced-while doing so I noticed the part had water and evidence of deteriation from having water coming in contact with the part. You may ahve a bad pump for that matter but in mine and most other cases it's been caused by the vacuum solonoid. The part is sitting right next to the air pump-two bolts holds it down and there is a vacuum hose that leads across the top of the engine to another vacuum switch located on the drivers side wheel well. You should of corse inspect the vacuum hoses all around first to make sure you don't just have a vac leak and causing the problem. Do you have a check engine light-you should if there is a problem with the pump not starting up.
