Strange fuel guage problem. 700

First of all I just replaced my thermostat as I had no engine heat. Now I have a problem with the fuel guage I never had before. The guage shows proper fuel level when in pos2 but after starting it shows a full tank. It slowly rises up to the full mark. It never did this before replacing the thermostat.

Please Help!!!
