Hmm, guess what I found in my engine two days ago! NO OIL! 140-160

Well, there was some, but it didn't register on the dipstick. I knew the car had oil leaks and burned oil, but I've never seen it that low, that fast. I added a quart somewhere in the last month and less than 1000 miles ago, but yeah. I checked it two nights ago, and low and behold, nothing registered on the dipstick. Wowzers. My water pump is going bad as well, sometimes doing some AWESOME loud bearing squealing, that I can actually FEEL restrict the engine a bit. Kind of like AC kicking on, and making really loud noise. It's beautiful.

I'm going to look at the engine today and see if there are any lose bolts. And I'll be keeping a better eye on the oil level.

I may part this car out sooner rather than later it seems, and may try to get a 72 145 back on the road in it's place.

I'll go to a carwash place today to clean the engine off a bit, as currently it's completely covered in oil, on the driver's side anyway. Everything on the other side burns off.

Just an update on the car, I'm not really looking for reasons to save it or find out what the problem may be. :)

Sure is one hell of an engine though. I'm very suprised it still moves after all that it's been through.
