Thanks Kyle...I rarely frequent the 544 forum...

I think you're right. I'll likely freshen up the B20 head for now. Might shave it a little to pump the c/r up to 11 or 11.5. I should be able to tune out the "ping" with high octane and EDIS...

I thought about doing a bunch of other stuff and finally said, "y'know what? I'm going to just enjoy the car this summer, not sweat about trying to meet deadlines and crap like that..."

So...new guides, minor resurface, seat the valves, swap cam, springs and lifters and I'm done. No big-ass titanium valves and other crap this summer...
