heater hose part numbers - 145 140-160

The heater hoses from the block to the firewall in my 1974 145 are failing. I ordered hoses from RPR Company in California. The part numbers they have are
460585 for the lower and
460581 for the upper.
They had the lower in stock but the shape of it is nothing like what I have. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can find the right part numbers ? IPD didn't have heater hoses. I didn't find anything on line with Swedish Treasures or GCP.se. It was suggested to me that generic wire wound heater hose could be bent to fit. Has anyone tried this ? What size hose would I ask for ?
