what was your cupholder solution? 200

Seeing Ken's picture of the armrest cupholder made me think of Stupid Hippie's excellent wire design. My 85 wagon has one that I tacked on to a carphone swivel:


The wire was from a campaign lawn sign thrown out after election day, and the wood was the center of the (scrap) bit I cut out to mount my radio in the weird-shaped hole in the top dash:

so my solution was mostly dependent on what I had around at the time (like the blow-torched styrofoam one that worked so well in that 89 240 sedan...)

I was wondering what other people happened to come up with...
