Tranny clutch fork bumper? 200

I think I messed up when I installed my tranny and clutch assembly about 5 months ago. This is an M47 5 speed. There is a rubber bumper and a large U-shaped heavy metal( counter weight ? )object that attaches to the clutch cable at the clutch fork area. The rubber snubber is, the best I can tell, made onto the cable but the heavy metal part just slides onto the cable. I need a pic or a really good explaination of how this is mounted. I looked for some archived pics but can not find any. Any help will be appericated. Thanks.. Max:<( P.S. Needless to say my Bentley is no where to be found..
