That is brilliant - never would have thought of that...then again, where I grew up my Dad use to leave the keys in the truck (still has to be reminded when he's in the big city). Some places also sell a battery disabler. It connects to your positive side and comes with a remote to disable the battery. At least no one sees you fiddling around under the hood.
