My dead 122... 120-130 1967

Hi, I'm new here but need some help! My normally trusty (and rebuilt) 122 died yesterday. Started out driving fine--signals, fan, everything. By my trip home while she ran fine the amp light came on when I used the signals or tried to turn the blower fan on. A few hours later, when I tried to start her to park, she was completely dead--not even dome light would come on. Put her on trickle charge, and then tried a jump start, nothing. The wiring, connections, and fuses all look fine (tested the fuses and they're all conductive). The battery is reading at 12 volts, but to be sure I even put a known good battery in and still no juice at all. I tried calling a local Volvo specialist and he suggested I'd fried the under-dash wiring but I can find no evidence of that--everything looks intact. I can't get the car started to test the generator or the voltage regulator, and no one else I've asked seems to have a clue. I'm thinking it has to be something simple....Any ideas? This is driving me nuts....thanks for any help or advice!
