Turbo lag. Wait, I mean SU lag. 140-160

I know this is typical of SUs, but what can I do to reduce it? You know, when you initially hit the gas, you get a little bit of lag before the engine really kicks in.

I assume this is because the piston takes a while to move up. I'm currently using ATF as my damper fluid, and was considering using some synthetic blend atf because I assume that'd act like it's a bit thinner.

Is Marvel Mystery oil more thin than ATF?

Is this the wrong way to go about reducing this lag?
