Over drive problems... 700 1989

Hello everyone, i'm new here, and too Volvo's. I have a 89 Volvo 740 GL wagon, with a B230F, with a AW70 tranny I think. Here is my problem: Started with my upshift arrow light coming on, and no OD. Started with a new volvo OD relay, which worked for a day. Well the light came back on, so I bought a new OD switch, which turned the light on and off. I can get my over drive to work by wiggling the OD relay then it will kick into OD. The light stays on but still have OD. If I don't wiggle the OD relay I will not have over drive. This problem is looking to be a wiring issue, I looked under the car, at the Solinode no bare wires, so that looks ok. I'm stumped on this, and would love have OD again with out wiggling the OD relay...lol
