Door seals 101 444-544

I recently replaced all the door seals on my 57 PV. I learned a few things that I'd like to share.
1) Just because one buys a door seal from a well known vintage Volvo aftermarket parts distributor, does not mean it is correct for the application

2) Door seals should be installed correctly to get the door to seal properly when closed - you can get dyslexic and put it in backwards, if not careful

3) The compressed thickness is important - think about what will be squishing up against the door frame, and what that total thickness is.

4) Even with the correct seal installed, the door needs to be slammed to close it. :)

5) You can put the door seal all the way round the door, contrary to popular belief that the door won't close if you do this, and the seal should be left off the bottom
