Tie rod replacement 200 1988

Hi all. So after noticing extreme shimmy in my steering wheel at low speed, I take my Volvo to NTB and they sat I need new Tie rods (as well at one new rim and tires). They say the bushings died and so my tie rods are bent. $171 per rod for parts(!) plus labor for an hour minimum.

So I whip out the Bentley manual while they are on the phone to look up how to replace the tie rods and... no instructions from what I can tell. It shows how to replace the ends, but not the rods themselves. I think I can do it judging from the diagrams, but I'm not sure which parts to buy. I own a wagon, so where is the sticker that tells me what kind of steering setup I have?

This seems pretty straight forward, loosen a few bolts and unscrew the rod, then replace. Any tips?
