Purolator oil filters are Mann

Just an interesting note.

There is a recent post about Mann filters being made in Argentina. There is a post within that thread regarding a deal between Purolator and Mann.

I happened to be in Pep Boys today, and looked up the Purolator filter for my 245 Diesel. I found the p/n, grabbed a box, and opened it.

Lo and behold, there was a Mann filter inside. Sure, it had a Purolator sticker on it, but it was a 100% Mann filter.

Oh, and BTW, the Mann p/n on that filter was W950/4. This is indeed the correct p/n for a D24T. It was priced at $7.99. Not bad, I pay less, but I buy them by the case.
