1994 940 idling problems -- continuing questions

According to the mechanic, he said he went through the adjustments and has it where it is supposed to be, but that the TPS is getting flaky. I am not adept/smart enough to know if he is right or not.

I was just thinking that I would swap the complete throttle body assembly from the '89 240 to the '94 940, and see if that makes a difference. I just didn't know if the would even work if swapped.

Right now it will increase up to 1500 rpm, but some times we can blip the throttle and it (the idle) will go back to a 1000 ....sometimes not.

Thanks for the reply;
randy
