'66 hydraulics to post '67 cable clutch conversion; output flange swap 120-130 1966

Can it be done?

The '66 will receive a heart transplant courtesy RedwoodChair's parted 145 '73 B20F/M40 EXTRA-LONGblock. -Big Thanks-

We'd kinda like to stick with the cable post '67 style. I have new master & slave cylinders on the '66 & I'm confident in swapping bell housings so it's no great loss if it's out of the realm of hand tools, but I'd like to entertain the possibility.

Also, what to do with the non-matching trans output flange? Can I get the old (small) M40 flange out and trade them? What's involved & is the best route longevity-wise?

As per usual, advice and anecdotes keenly appreciated.

I'll probably save the 40 DCOE 32s for this thing, get it running with whatever happens to be complete and available, and spring for a big exhaust as this one is unusable anyhow.

Finally!

Cheers, -Sean
