Temp Sensor specs 200 1991

For LH2.4 and LH3.1. This should include your '91 240.

14 deg. F: 8260 - 10560 Ohms (text spec)
68 deg. F: 2280 - 2720 Ohms (text spec)
176 deg. F: 290-364 Ohms (text spec)
86 deg. F: about 1000 Ohms (approximating from chart curve)
100 deg. F: about 850 Ohms (approximating from chart curve)

These are from Bentleys book which shows a chart on p. 241-12 (Fig. 10) and text on pg. 241-18.

Testing resistance between ECU connector pins 13 and ground, with ignition off.
Maybe you can get at the temp sensor contacts - lucid finds that tough.
Be kind to the ECU contacts, they've been known to suffer damage from removing and replaceing the connector. I think you have to take the cover off the connector to see the pin #s but I haven't done it yet.
