740 camshaft oil leak 700 1989

Hi folks,

My sons low mileage (207,000) 1989 740 w/ B230F engine seems to be leaking oil from the front of the camshaft...it drips down onto the block and the water pump. I was wondering if anyone could tell me if there is a seal at the front of the camshaft and is it replacable by an old wrench turner? If there isn't a seal, can you give me some hints as to what you think it might be. Thanks in advance!

Neal
