Actually, they were .... 700

I had the front wheels balanced twice with Hunter dynamic balancing at a Tire America dealership. They are Kumho Escta on Hydras. The mechanic said the wheels were slightly out and corrected them. This was much improved, but I had the problem previously with other tires on Nova rims. That is why I suspect something else. My other car a 760 with Novas and Yokahoma DB's run flat and steady as heck. I wonder just how round the Hydras are as they seem so assymetrical a wheel and a difficult casting to balance. Who knows. I'll mount another Hydra with a new Toya tire and see what happens.
