1980 244 Condensation on intake manifold while running 200

Does any body know what it means when the intake maniold is ice cold with heavy condensation on the flat area on top?I just got the car a few days ago.It doesn't start anymore but was succesful in getting it started yesterday. It ran for at least 10 minutes then seamed to run out of fuel.I noticed the condensation.Im still learning and have ordered a manual. Is that the cold start valve that aims into the big manifold just below the flat area on top?If so then could it be the reason for the ice cold manifold and pool of condensation?
Thats all for now. When I figure out what is what then I can ask more.I know you folks are much smarter than the RX7 group I joined to get info from. All kids! Thanks Chris
P.S. the condensation goes away after an hour or so after running.
