i recently (after being interested for quite some time) acquired my first 122 (2nd volvo, my first car was a 740 wagon). so far it's doing good, but i just had some questions for people who use these to commute, as i plan on driving it as much as possible... i noticed it has pretty high gears, and through some searching on here i found it probably has either 4.10's or 4.56's... which seem steep to me. so my questions are A.) do you people that drive 100's of miles a week have OD trannies or different rear ends? B.) do these things really spin about 4g's at 55 mph? and if so do they care, meaning is that real hard on them?
