Which alternator is this? 140-160

George,
I received the 55A Bosch rebuilt this morning and put it in. Did the trick. Funny thing though, the old alternator was definitely a SEV because it had the solid fan ,but the "new" one, which came in a Bosch box and had Bosch stickers all over it, is identical, except that it has the open fan. It even has the machined pulley, although, a little larger, so I had to get a longer belt. I surmize that either Bosch rebuilds 55A SEVs and slaps their own name on them, or the housings are generic and used by different brands. Tricky!
