Still chasing idle issues. acts like vacuum, but.. 200 1990

just when I thought I had the problem fixed, the idle was a little high, but what the hey, I could live with that, then the Check engine light comes on again, and the thing starts surging at idle. I've been all over this @^%&@% thing with a can of ether searching for the vacuum leak that it definitley acts like, but have found nothing. swapped AMM with my partscar, no change. swapped O2 sensor with partscar (after testing my original and determning it to be good)nothing different. cleaned throttle body and IAC, nope, still acting up. unplugged throttle switch, hey, idles pretty nice then, but that switch has gotta be there for a reason, can't just eliminate it. I'm just about out of ideas, and I hate to just throw expensive parts at it until it runs right. every time it throws out about the same codes, usually 232, 231, 113, 221, all mixture related stuff, showing lean condition. (O2 sensor test showed lean too, unless forcing it rich by choking off intake air) I so miss carburetors and points....
